The Airspace and Future Operations Consultation is now open and can be accessed on the Heathrow Consultation website.
The consultation runs for 8 weeks from 8 January until 11.55pm on 4 March 2019. It is seeking feedback on changes to airspace and future runway operations. The documentation can be reviewed on the Heathrow Consultation website.
The Civic Centre is listed as a Document Inspection Location. The documents are available on request from reception.
Notably, there are two public consultation events:
Walton-on-Thames: 23 January, 2-8pm at the Xcel Sports Hub.
East Molesey: 25 January, 2-8pm at Imber Court
Many of the events will have a sound demonstration facility. This provides demonstrations to help you understand what aircraft may look and sound like at different heights, both outside and indoors.
Please note these events are open for anyone to attend and do not require you to book.
The consultations are an opportunity to have your say to help shape any emerging proposals which Heathrow may be developing, so that Heathrow may take account of your feedback.
Aviation 2050 — the future of UK aviation
The Department for Transport is seeking feedback on its green paper which outlines proposals for a new aviation strategy. The strategy will set out the challenges and opportunities for aviation to 2050 and beyond and will emphasise the significance of aviation to the UK economy and regional growth.
The documents are available online. This consultation closes at 11.45pm on 11 April 2019.
