Wild at play event
A family event where children and their parents or carers can spend the morning doing arts and crafts with natural materials, building dens, hunting bugs and finding out about their local woodland.
Councillor Janet Turner, Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Culture, said, “The countryside monthly walks and events are a great way for adults and children of all ages to explore the countryside with local experts who are always enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge. During these events, the countryside team will also be pleased to answer any questions about your local environment and the on-going works on countryside sites to ensure the protection of the local wildlife and the enjoyment of residents."
