As part of the determination of application 2020/0933, the Council published on its website an objection letter which included personal information about the applicant as well as statements of opinion which caused the applicant distress. This was a breach of both UK GDPR and the Council’s own guidelines and for this the Council apologises. The matter has been fully investigated and changes to the Council’s procedures have been made to prevent this from happening again.
