Centres for the community

Elmbridge Centres for the Community closed but support for customers remains

For the wellbeing of our customers, our Centres for the Community are now closed. These centres are based at Weybridge, Walton-on-Thames, Thames Ditton, Hersham, Cobham, Claygate and Molesey.

However, we remain committed to supporting those who rely on our centres; we will deliver meals-on-wheels and arrange for a weekly 'check in' call.

If you would like to volunteer to support our meals-on-wheels effort please contact us on 01372 474 552 or email commservices@elmbridge.gov.uk.   All meals-on-wheels volunteers must have their own car.

Please note that our meals-on-wheels volunteers only visit homes at agreed times.

For more information, please see our Coronavirus (COVID-19) page.

We have seven centres across Elmbridge, aiming to promote an active and full life for residents, offering a range of leisure activities and opportunities to learn new skills, including:

  • art and craft classes
  • iPad training

  • hairdressing, beauty treatments, reflexology and aromatherapy

  • organised trips

  • exercise classes

  • three course lunches

  • tea bar with a selection of cakes and sandwiches

Each centre offers a quarterly programme of events and activities. To find out what is going on at your local centre click on the highlighted link below. You can also pick up a copy of our new spring/summer community wellbeing magazine at any of our centres.
