The Residents' Panel is made up of local residents. We ask their views on the Council's services two to three times a year. Ideally we like to send consultations via email as this means that the Council can continue to consult residents in a cost effective and environmentally friendly way. However, if you do not have an email address you can still become a member, as we will continue to send out paper surveys by post to those without computer access.
We need your views so we can ensure residents' opinions are taken into account when developing services. If you are aged 18 or over and live in the borough of Elmbridge, membership of the panel is open to you.
How does it work?
Online panel members will be sent an email with a link to a survey. This could be about anything the Council is working on, including Council priorities and budget; service satisfaction; recycling and refuse; and crime. Each survey is expected to take around ten minutes to complete. Please be assured that your details will be used for statistical purposes only and will be held in the strictest of confidence. Details will not be passed onto any third party.
These consultations are usually questionnaires though occasionally we invite Panel members to take part in workshops or focus groups.
