COVID-19 Additional Relief Fund (CARF)

On 15 December 2021 the Government published guidance on the operation of the fund and details of the funding allocation for each local authority. After the Government has provided more information and clarification on the scheme, we will design and publish details of how the scheme will operate in late January 2022.

We have suspended new business rate recovery action for 2021/22 until the relief fund is active; recovery action that was underway on the 15 December 2021 will continue.
