Businesses participating in the community toilet scheme are paid by the council to make their toilets available to members of the public who have not made a purchase at their premises. Businesses are paid £1,000 per year (plus VAT if the business is VAT registered).
Businesses also benefit from promotion across the borough as a participant in the scheme.
