Household Support Fund
The government has made available £5.8 million of funding to Surrey County Council for the Household Support Fund.
Elmbridge Borough Council has been allocated approximately £270,000 of the funding to allocate within its area. The Government is asking local authorities to prioritise support for those most in need; allocate at least 50% of the funding to households with children; help those who are struggling to afford food, energy and water bills and other essential expenditure during the winter. Find more details in the Discretionary Household Support Fund Policy.
