Advice if you are struggling to pay essential bills

  
  • Breathing Space: gives you legal protections from creditor action for up to 60 days. The protections include pausing most enforcement action and contact from creditors and freezing most interest and charges on their debts.
  • Financial help - Surrey County Council - Some families may be struggling financially as a result of COVID. Differing groups of the community will have differing financial needs.  Includes information on the Household Support Fund.

  • Turn2us is an organisation that can help you with checking benefits entitlement, searching for a grant and generally getting you back on track.
  • Walton Charity aims to make a positive difference to the lives of local people, through individual and community grants and social housing for single people in need for example.
