We Are What You Do - Use your vote

It's your chance to have a say about the way the public services in your area operate.

The people you elect are there on your behalf to make important decisions. If you have spare time, you may even want to take things one step further and become a councillor yourself.

In Surrey we operate a two tier system for the Council. Elmbridge Borough Council is responsible for services such as waste collection, housing, leisure and cultural services and planning, and Surrey County Council is responsible for services such as social services and education.

Elections for borough councillors are due in May each year (in a three year cycle) and for local county councillors elections take place every four years.

For more information, please visit the |About My Vote website and the |elections section of this website.

In the meantime, Elmbridge Borough Council hosts consultation panels for businesses and resisdents. These panels give you an opportunity to comment on how the Council deliver its services. |For more information, visit the consultation section on this website.
