We Are What You Do - Report dumped waste and graffiti to the Council

report dumped rubbish and graffitiAbandoned cars? Fly tipping? Graffiti?

The environment we live and work in has a significant impact on how we feel and how others behave.

We live and work in a beautiful part of the country, but there are some selfish, ignorant people who blight our communities with littering, fly tipping, graffiti and abandoning their vehicles.

It is estimated that it costs £100-£150 million every year in the UK to clear fly tipping. In areas were it is a problem not only is it unsightly but it can sometimes increase fear of crime in the area and has a negative effect on local house prices. As well as being unsightly it poses a threat to both humans and animals.

Elmbridge Borough Council and its partners are committed to removing these as quickly as possible, but we need to know they are there, so please report incidents to us.

But simply removing the problem does not help in the long term. If you know who is responsible, as a citizen you have a duty to report it.

You can do this confidentially by telephoning either the |Community Safety Team on 01932 205533 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111
