recycle your household wasteThe UK produces over 434 million tonnes of general rubbish each year. This rate of rubbish would fill the Albert Hall every two hours.

On average every family consumes 330 glass bottles and jars each year. It is not really known how long glass takes to break down, but glass from 3000 years ago can still be found in the Middle East!

With all the packaging that is used for convenience products, we now produce and use 20 times more plastic than 50 years ago.
