Just two hours could mean the difference between life and death!
If you found someone in shock or not breathing, would you know what to do and could you cope?
When an accident happens, your first reaction is vital: the more you know about first aid, the more effective you will be. It can take just four minutes for someone with a blocked airway to die, but eight minutes for an ambulance crew to arrive. Your two hour training would show you how to save that life immediately.
St. John Ambulance Lifesaver courses will give you the knowledge and confidence to make a difference in an emergency. The introductory Lifesaver course will teach you how to handle an emergency situation and also covers vital lifesaving and resuscitation techniques.
There are a number of courses available to suit your needs. You may need the basic Lifesaver course, or if you are a motorcycle enthusiast there is a course to help you specifically deal with motorcycle accidents. If you are a parent of a young child, there are courses designed to suit you.
Wouldn't you want the person sitting next to you to know what to do in an emergency? How great would it feel to save someone's life!
