What is it?
The Esher shuttle bus will run a regular service between Esher train station and key locations in Esher, helping commuters to and from the station. It is intended just to run at the peak times in the morning and evening, starting at 7.00 am, through to nearly 10.00 am and then again at 5.00 pm through to nearly 8.00 pm (see timetable and route below). It is planned to start on the 15th September 2008. It will not operate on bank holidays or during Christmas and the New Year.

The short circular route between Esher train station, Esher High Street, Esher High School runs between 7 and 8 am only.
The full route includes a stop for West End and the Princess Alice Hospice and operates after 8 am.

How much will it cost?
The cost of a ticket is just £1a trip for adults and children.
Older people and people with a qualifying disability who have a free bus pass are able to use it on the bus, |subject to usual restrictions.
Who is supporting it?
The bus has been supported by a number of different organisations, and without their help the service would not have been possible. Elmbridge Borough Council has worked with Garsons and the |Elmbridge Business Network. to bring the service together. Additional supporters are Christ Church and St George's West End, Esher Pharmacy, Newbould Jewellers, Sandown Racecourse. The service is managed by Esher Business Guild Limited - a company limited by guarantee.
Who are the operators?
The service is operated by East Surrey Rural Transport Partnership, a registered charity and company limited by guarantee.
