The star ratings are derived from information held by the Environmental Health & Licensing Division's Food Safety Service, who are responsible for monitoring the standards of operational and structural hygiene in food businesses in the borough.
Users must note that the star rating allocated to a food business is based on the assessment of the inspecting Food Safety Officer at the time of the last full or primary inspection. This includes observations on the hygiene standards of the food business at this time. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the data, the Environmental Health & Licensing Division cannot bear responsibility for any deterioration in standards that may occur between inspections.
