Smokefree Legislation

A year ago, July 2007, the Smokefree (Premises and Enforcement) Regulations 2006 came into effect, restricting smoking in work places and public places.

Smoking is now prohibited in all 'enclosed' or 'substantially enclosed' workplaces or public areas.

Giving-up Smoking

For anyone who wishes to take the opportunity to give up smoking, call the |Surrey NHS Stop Smoking Service on 0845 602 3608 to take part in either group or one-to-one sessions.
