Elmbridge Borough Council - Green Space, Sport and Recreation Study (March 2006)

Leisure and Cultural Services and the Town Planning Division jointly commissioned PMP to undertake a Green Space, Sport and Recreation Study on behalf of Elmbridge Borough Council.

The Study provides an assessment of local need, a comprehensive audit of existing provision of green space and indoor sport and recreation facilities and identification of any deficiencies or surpluses in provision, together with future policy recommendations. It also includes a local standard for each type of open space and how these standards should be applied.

This Report has not been adopted or endorsed by the Council. The Report contains the findings and recommendation of PMP. However the study will be used to inform Council policy, for example, it will provide an evidence base for planning policy and will assist and inform the preparation of the Council's |Local Development Framework.
