Apply for Planning Permission
The simplest way to submit a planning application is online via the |Planning Portal. Registration is easy and you can complete your application form, buy site location plans, attach drawings and supporting documents online. Benefits of applying online include:

The Planning Portal has a Service Desk for advice, open from 08:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday - Phone 0117 372 8200. Their |FAQ section answers most questions.
Please note a planning application cannot be progressed until all the necessary supporting information and the appropriate fee is received. Please ensure you have read the appropriate |validation guidance and addressed any issues covered. All applicants are encouraged to seek pre-application advice before submitting their application. Complete a Planning Application
This service is designed to help you complete the application process and create and attach a professional quality site location plan by downloading appropriate Ordnance Survey maps. When complete, your application and site map can be printed and mailed, or sent to |Planning Services electronically.
The Council is under a duty to protect public funds and may use the information you have provided on this form for the prevention and detection of fraud.
