Guidance Notes

Planning Contributions Charge Sheet and Unilateral Undertaking templates

To assist applicants in meeting planning requirements relating to affordable housing, infrastructure and Thames Basin Heaths, we have produced a draft template of a Unilateral Undertaking, as well as further guidance notes on the completion of such Undertakings. However, it is an applicants responsibility to produce an appropriate document and they should always seek independent legal advice. Three templates are available depending on the contributions applicable to the scheme i.e. on-site affordable housing provision, financial contributions towards affordable housing, Thames Basin Heaths mitigation etc. We have also produced a Planning Contributions Charge Sheet which allows applicants to calculate the contributions required to meet planning policy requirements including for affordable housing, Thames Basin Heaths and infrastructure. These documents are a local validation requirement and should be submitted with a planning application as confirmation of the applicants willingness to enter into an Obligation.

A copy of the draft Unilateral Undertaking templates and Charge Sheet including associated guidance notes can be requested below. By clicking on the link below you will be directed to a short online form. On submission of the form you will receive an email with links to the relevant documents. Please note you will need to open the Charge Sheet as read only and save a copy.
