You will have to pay a fee to apply for planning permission (unless you are entitled to an |exemption or concession). The fees are payable when you submit your application to us. Your application will not be processed until we have received the correct fee.
Below is a summary of the amendment to planning fees:

| Change of use | £335.00 |
| Planning Applications for enlargement, improvement or alteration to a dwelling | £150.00 |
| Advertisements - displaying externally on business premises, directions etc. | £95.00 |
| Advertisements - all others (billboards) | £335.00 |
| Certificate of Lawfulness - Proposed use | Half the fee of the application type |
| Certificate of Lawfulness - Existing Use | Full fee of application type |
| Lawful Certificate following failure to comply with Condition | £170.00 |
| Confirmation of Compliance with a condition for a householder application | £25.00 each request |
| Confirmation of Compliance of condition with all other applications. | £85.00 each request |
| Minor (1-9 Dwellings or 50-1000sqm commercial) | £100 per enquiry for written response £200 per enquiry for a meeting |
| Major (10-49 Dwellings or 1000-5000sqm commercial) | £250 per enquiry for written response £500 per enquiry for a meeting |
| Strategic (50 plus dwellings or 5000sqm plus commercial) | £500 per enquiry for written response £1000 per enquiry for a meeting |
| Other (Householder Extensions or up to 50sqm commercial) | No charge |
