Elmbridge Borough Council and Voluntary Action Elmbridge join forces for the annual Voluntary Sector Forum
Voluntary and community organisations from across Elmbridge and Surrey are invited to attend the upcoming Voluntary Sector Forum taking place at the Civic Centre, Esher, KT10 9SD on 12 January 2018 starting at 2.30pm.
Following on from the success of previous years, the forum will start with inspiring presentations, moving onto a marketplace full of grant-funding organisations and concluding with one-to-one funding advice sessions. Charities, community and voluntary sector groups will have the opportunity to attend funding advice sessions with Community Foundation for Surrey, Awards for All/ Big Lottery, The R C Sherriff Trust, two different funding streams from Elmbridge Borough Council and Voluntary Action Elmbridge.
Councillor Mrs Ruth Lyon the Portfolio Holder for Social Affairs said: “As funding to the voluntary, community and faith sector becomes harder to access, the forum provides an excellent opportunity for local charities to ask questions directly to grant-funding organisations. The event is also a chance to catch up and network with voluntary sector colleagues that support Elmbridge so well”.
If you are interested in attending or would like to book your place onto a one-to-one advice session, please call the Voluntary Sector Support Administrator on 01372 474537 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm your attendance.
