Book now for the next Voluntary Sector Forum
Following on from the successful Voluntary Sector Forum in 2015, Elmbridge Borough Council and Voluntary Action Elmbridge are holding the next Voluntary Sector Forum at the Civic Centre in Esher on 9 December, starting at 2.30pm.
The Forum will begin with topical presentations, followed by an opportunity to network and visit the Market Place, and will conclude with one-to-one funding advice sessions.
Advice sessions will be available from Community Foundation Surrey, Walton Charity, Surrey County Council (Membership Allocation), Elmbridge Borough Council (Community Infrastructure Levy, Sports Grant and Annual Grants) and Voluntary Action Elmbridge, providing access to Grant Finder (a database of over 6,000 funding programmes).
Councillor Mrs Ruth Lyon, Portfolio Holder for Social Affairs, said “As funding to the voluntary, community and faith sector is becoming more and more hard to access, this Forum is an excellent opportunity for local charities to ask the questions from the Funders themselves and we are grateful that the Grant Giving bodies attending cover such a diverse range of Grant Giving organisations. It’s also a chance to catch up and network with the local voluntary sector organisations that support Elmbridge so well.”
If you are interested in attending or you want to book a one-to-one funding advice session, which are available on a first come, first served basis, please contact the Voluntary Sector Support Assistant on 01372 474543 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
