Pavilion Sports Ground

Permission was granted (Ref. 2017/1421) on appeal in January this year (following a Public Inquiry held in December 2017), for a development comprising 40 residential units with associated garaging, landscaping and amenity areas including mini-soccer pitch, outdoor gym and children’s play area with new access from Hurst Lane, following the relocation of 3 tennis courts, was subject to a number of planning conditions.

Following this decision the applicant Langham Homes has applied (Ref. 2018/1243) to the Council to confirm compliance with a number of conditions attached to permission 2017/1421. These conditions must be approved before any development can commence on the site.

The compliance with conditions application currently under consideration (Ref. 2018/1243) seeks the council’s approval on the technical details dealing with:

  • external building materials (Condition 4)

  • details of hard and soft landscaping (Condition 5),

  • a landscape maintenance plan (Condition 7),

  • details of arboricultural supervision (Condition 11),

  • a construction method statement (Condition 14),

  • an ecological management plan (Condition 16),

  • an archaeological investigation report (Condition 17) and;

  • a ground investigation report to ascertain the risks posed by any contamination  (Condition 19).

You can read full details of these and the accompanying reports on our website. A decision on these is expected on or before 20 June 2018.
