Partnership fund

Elmbridge Borough Council is pleased to announce that it is working in partnership with the Walton Charity to launch the Partnership Fund 2018 for the third year running. Both organisations are delighted to welcome the Elmbridge Community Fund which has also agreed to contribute to the fund.

This year funding is being directed towards charitable and community organisations supporting isolated or potentially isolated members of the Elmbridge community. Local organisations can apply to the Partnership Fund to start a new project or to cover existing project costs. The Partnership Fund is now open with a closing date of 12pm on 31 October 2018.

The funding partners are particularly keen to receive applications from small organisations or groups. If your organisation is thinking of applying for this funding and requires support, Voluntary Action Elmbridge are happy to help you. Please contact them on 01372 463587 or email:

Relate West Surrey received funding from the Partnership Fund last year and said:

“We have been very grateful to the Partnership Fund which contributed towards to the cost of renting accommodation at Weybridge Centre for the Community. This enabled local people to access relationship counselling.  This service is available at the Weybridge Centre for 3 hours a week and to date has supported approximately 25 couples.”

Andrea Watson the Head of Community Programs at Walton Charity commented:

“We are delighted to be working in partnership with Elmbridge Borough Council and Elmbridge Community Fund, to offer funding to local organisations addressing social isolation, which is increasingly recognised as a major concern in our local community. Walton Charity particularly wants to work with, and fund, others who have innovative approaches to funding to address such issues”.
