Whether this is your year to start a new business, or if you are aiming to improve your existing one, come along to our business grant drop-in session. It’s a great opportunity to find out about our business grant schemes and get help with your application. The next drop-in session will be held at the Civic Centre, Esher, from 12pm to 1pm on 23 January.
Our Elmbridge Civic Improvement Fund can provide businesses with free money towards a range of improvements; from shop fronts and signage, promotions and marketing initiatives, as well as learning skills and training initiatives. It doesn’t matter if you aren’t on the high street - applications are welcome from any type of business!
The Fund was established in 2009 with the aim of helping to boost the local economy and attract more people to use our local services and amenities. Since then, the scheme has allocated over £830,000 to over 230 local businesses.
If it’s a new business that you are looking to start, or have recently started, we can offer advice on applying to the Elmbridge Start Up Fund, which can offer up to £1,000 to new local businesses to help with setting up costs. Come along to the session to see how our Fund could help you.
Councillor Selleck, Leader of the Council said: "Both schemes are an excellent resource for local businesses. The New Year is a great opportunity to take advantage of the help on offer, and I would encourage Elmbridge businesses to come along to the session to see how the Funds could help them."
