Elmbridge Museum has offered a valuable service to the community since it opened in 1909. It is committed to placing its services closer to the heart of the community with temporary displays in public places and a thriving education and learning programme. Temporary displays can be viewed at the Civic Centre, Esher and at The Dittons, Cobham and Walton Libraries. The Museum also has its own website and offers a series a monthly family fun events themed around local history.
Elmbridge Borough Council wants to find out if they can encourage non-users to start exploring the museum services. If you are not familiar with Elmbridge Museum, we would like you to take part in an online survey to have your say. Your opinions are important to us to adapt our services to your needs.
Cllr Janet Turner, Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Culture, said,
“The Museum is going through an exciting period of change to offer a more accessible, relevant, cost-effective and comprehensive 21st Century service to residents and users. The Museum team wants to ensure they tailor their services to the community’s needs and requirements. I am inviting residents who are not familiar with Elmbridge Museum to tell us how we can encourage them to use the Museum services. Please fill in the online survey and tell us what you think”.
