With October just around the corner, it is already time to think about Halloween with its array of hair-raising fun things to do in preparation for the big day and night.
Elmbridge Museum is inviting you to delve into the world of creepy cartoons at their next family fun event on Saturday 1 October from 2pm to 4.30pm at Hersham Village Hall, Queens Road, KT12 5LT. In the past, people created wacky, funny and spooky cartoons to give their readers thrills, chills and a tickled funny bone. It will be your turn to take inspiration from the past to create your own creepy cartoons. What will you draw in yours? The only limit is your imagination.
Councillor Janet Turner, Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Culture, said, “There is so much fun to be had at the Museum monthly family events. The next session will get children and their parents in the right mood for Halloween and help them develop their drawing skills and cartooning techniques. Why not join the Museum Team for some fun family timeout this Saturday?”
‘Creepy Cartoons’ is part of a series of Family Fun events held by Elmbridge Museum at Hersham Village Hall once a month on a Saturday. Sessions run from 2pm to 4.30pm. Booking is not necessary. Children must be accompanied by an adult. A charge of £1.50 per child applies.
