This year, Elmbridge Borough Council has once more been celebrating independent retailers in the Borough and asking residents to support their local shops by voting for their favourites.
Now in its fourth year, the Elmbridge Independent Retailer of the Year awards help to celebrate and showcase the fantastic range of shops and services we have in Elmbridge.
Councillor Stuart Selleck, Leader of Elmbridge Borough Council said ‘The awards are going from strength to strength with individual categories attracting support for up to 95 different businesses. I would like to thank everyone who voted for their favourite shop, café or restaurant and hope our residents will continue to back their local independents.’
This year’s winner of the Best Independent Retailer in Elmbridge, Sharon Ferrari from Geminera on Baker Street in Weybridge said ‘It was great to hear we had been voted the best independent retailer in Elmbridge. Knowing our customers had made the effort to vote for us made it even more special.’
