13 September 2016
On 21 September 2016 from 2pm to 4.30pm the Cobham Link group will be celebrating its fifth birthday at the Cobham Centre for the Community.
The group, for adults with learning disabilities, offers members the opportunity to take part in a range of activities throughout the week. Come along and celebrate with the group and enjoy a slice of cake. See the group in action - bowling, cooking and using the gym equipment or even have a go yourself! If you would be interested in joining the group, this is a great opportunity to meet other members and see what they get up to in the week.
Councillor Ruth Lyon Portfolio Holder for Social Affairs commented, “It is great that this group has been running for the last five years. It provides a space for people to learn new skills, socialise and get involved in their local community. This is definitely something worth celebrating”.
If you would like further information about the birthday party or would like to join the group, please contact Chris, Cobham Link Coordinator, on 01932 596 031 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
