Household enquiry form – house-to-house canvasser visits
The annual voter registration canvass is underway with household enquiry forms being sent out to all properties in the Borough during August. The Council needs to know who lives at your address in order to check who is eligible to vote. Being registered will not only give you the right to vote but could also improve your credit rating.
It is a legal requirement to provide the information requested, if you don’t respond you may be fined.
If you haven't responded to the form by 4 October 2017, you may receive a visit from one of our elections canvassers to collect this information. The canvasser could visit during the day, evening or at the weekend. All canvass staff will carry an ID badge to verify their identity.
