Map Tools

There are various tools that you may use to navigate around the map.

The Navigation tool is useful if you wish to move the map North, South, East or West. Click on the arrow that represents the direction in which you wish to move and the map will be re-drawn accordingly.

You can also navigate around the map window by carrying out the following :

• Click, hold and drag (right mouse button) in the required direction and then release, this will drop the map at the selected location
• Repeat until desired locality is reached

The Zoom Slider is used to zoom to various scales within the map window

To Zoom In to a larger scale - Click onto the slider and drag up the bar towards the + end
To Zoom Out to a smaller scale - Click onto the slider and drag up the bar towards the - end

You can also Zoom In and Out by scrolling backwards and forwards on your mouse wheel, if you have one
