In order to provide the best sporting opportunities for its
members, a club should be constantly seeking to improve, whether this be through facility development, coaching development, increasing volunteers, or attracting new members into the club.
Sport England in partnership with sporting National Governing Bodies, have launched a club development scheme called "Clubmark" to provide a structured approach as well as recognition to clubs that are striving to develop. Active Surrey have made "Clubmark" even easier to attain by breaking Clubmark into managable peices called the Active Surrey Club Accreditation scheme (ASCA)
|Clubmark is a nationally recognised club development scheme that has been developed and is being actively promoted by Sport England and each sport's National Governing Body.
Clubmark recognises clubs with junior sections that meet high quality standards and have succeeded in meeting a number of criteria that are identified as being essential for a high quality club.

Coming soon to Elmbridge. Your chance to meet like minded clubs who are looking to gain accreditation and good practice. The evening is an ideal opportunity to talk to other clubs that have gained or working towards different stages of the Active Surrey Club Accreditation or Clubmark. Its an opportunity to share the minimum operating standards in place for clubs, with helpful advice and development ideas from proffesionals.
