What is Active Elmbridge?

Active Elmbridge is a recently formed partnership between various key stakeholders throughout the Elmbridge Borough. The partnership is still in the formation stage and members of the group have been invited to share thoughts and ideas of how Active Elmbridge will take shape.

Purpose

• To share knowledge, experience common aims and resources, so we can understand what we can do to help each other and reach out.
• To promote physical activity
• To encourage partners to work together by sharing and combining resources
• To come together when major projects are taking place
• To network and ensure there is a representative from each group
• To support other members in their own network/organisation

Terms of Reference

Active Elmbridge's purpose is to bring together different groups of people from health, leisure, sport and community partnerships, in order to gain knowledge from the different sectors and explore ways to influence participation in physical activity for the residents of Elmbridge.
