Elmbridge has a range of sports pitches for hire to schools, teams or groups of friends including football, cricket, hockey, tennis, netball and bowls.
Football and cricket pitches can be hired casually for one off fixtures or can be block booked for the season, normally alternate weeks to take into consideration home and away 
fixtures.
Football pitches are available from September to April every year with cricket pitches available from May to the beginning of September.
Tennis courts, apart from those at Cobham Recreation Ground, which are privately managed, are now available free of charge as part of the "Tennis for Free" initiative and do not need to be booked.
Tennis courts can be block booked for coaching.

Stompond Lane Sports Ground is located in Walton and boasts facilities for athletics, football, tennis and open space designated for public access. Although the sports ground is owned by Elmbridge Borough Council's Leisure and Cultural Services, it is leased out to three private clubs:
