However when faced with this information the automatic reaction is to think of sport and fitness classes down at the local leisure centre, which can turn many people off even before they begin, while others go for a few weeks then find they're not enjoying it so 'forget' to go back.

The work you'll put in will supply the activity you need in your life and as an extra reward you'll see the weekly shopping bills start to drop as you produce your own fresh veg.
You don't even need to go overboard, figures supplied by the Health Education Authority show that doing any moderate activity for half an hour a day will help keep you strong and mobile.
Elmbridge Allotments are spread throughout the borough. Currently none have vacant plots. However as there are nearly 20 allotment sites in the Borough so there might be future opportunities to take up plots when they are relinquished. If you make direct contact with the Allotment Association in the area which suits you, there will be a waiting list to join. Good luck in getting a plot!
