Horse Riding on the Elmbridge Countryside

An extensive network of waymarked permissive horse rides run through the Esher Commons (Esher, Fairmile, West End, Arbrook Commons and Oxshott Heath) and a map is available free from the Civic Centre.

Waymarked horse rides can also be found running through Littleworth Common in Esher, Claygate Common and Downside Common, Cobham.

Under the Riding Establishments Acts 1964 and 1970, a riding establishment needs to be licensed with the Local Authority. |View the list of riding establishments in Elmbridge that have been inspected and licensed by the Environmental Health & Licensing Division.
