Elmbridge Borough Council has published |A Guide to Housing Options for Older People in Elmbridge , which is intended to help older people, their families, carers and organisations that work with older people in Elmbridge. It provides details on the range of housing options for older people in the borough and how and where you can get more information.

This document does not provide exhaustive details of all housing available in the borough. It includes housing schemes and services specifically for older people provided by housing associations, Elmbridge Borough Council and local charities, but does not provide details on all the schemes provided in the private-sector.

Please be aware that if you are a tenant of a housing association or private landlord then they are your first contact for matters relating to rents and rent arrears, repairs, etc.

This guide is divided into three sections.

Strategic Review of Housing Provision for Older People in Elmbridge

In 2009, Elmbridge Borough Council with five providers of older people's housing in Elmbridge commissioned a review of housing and services for older people. This will help in the development of policies, plans, accommodation and services within the borough in response to the expected growth in the numbers of older people living in Elmbridge. The review does not constitute Council policy.
