What schemes are available in Elmbridge?
Four housing associations are responsible for providing most of the New Build HomeBuy and Discounted Rent homes in Elmbridge and details of each of them are provided below. If you are interested in finding out further information on particular schemes, including whether there are any vacancies available, please contact the housing association directly.
As a general rule, anybody interested in these schemes should apply to Elmbridge Borough Council and the zone-agent, Thames Valley Housing, as well as checking with the housing association providing the scheme as to any other requirements.
Elmbridge Housing Trust
Elmbridge Housing Trust has a number of sub-market rented schemes available to key-workers as well as a number of New-Build HomeBuy properties within Elmbridge.

Auckland House, Walton on Thames
Auckland House is a town centre development, handy for the train station. A two 2-bedroom apartment is still available and it comes with fitted carpets, fitted kitchens, modern bathrooms and with a Juliette balcony. This apartment is available for sale on shared ownership basis for £ 205,000 (full value) for a minimum 25% equity share to people who live or work in Elmbridge.
Osborne House, Hersham
From August 2008, the Trust will be marketing eight brand-new apartments at Osborne House. The apartments are situated in the centre of Hersham and are near to local transport. This development consists of two 1 bedroom and six 2 bedroom homes some with balconies, with 35% equity shares available. Applicants should have a minimum annual income of £20,000.
For both Elmbridge Housing Trust schemes households will need to be registered with the homebuy website to be considered for these properties.

Resales
In addition to the HomeBuy scheme, most housing associations that provide NewBuild HomeBuy also offer resales. Resale properties are shared ownership properties that are now offered for sale by the existing shared owners.
