Climate change has been described as one of the greatest challenges facing humanity. We have created this section in order to provide you with information on the subject including Council initiatives and tips for saving energy.
|Frances Rutter, Assistant Chief Executive, is coordinating Elmbridge Borough Council's work to address Climate Change. She also chairs the Sustainable Elmbridge working group. She says: "Climate Change is one of the biggest challenges facing the world today. It is a problem for everyone so as a Council we are acting to reduce our contribution to the causes. If each individual makes a small difference at home and at work, the combined effect can be staggeringly large."
Every Council division is involved in responding to Climate Change. Where possible, please try to use the contact details given for the specific initiatives detailed in this section.
