If you know a vehicle that might be abandoned, please note the details below if possible and |let us know about it.
We will investigate, within 1 working day, and if appropriate arrange for the vehicle's removal and disposal. Please tell us if you report a vehicle and it moves before a Notice is issued.
Please note: We can't deal with vehicles that are displaying a valid tax disc. Vehicles causing an obstruction or parked in a dangerous position should be reported to the police.
Vehicles on private land should be reported to the owners or managers of that land.
If the vehicle is untaxed, but has an owner, you need to report this to the DVLA in writing, giving the car registration, location and whether it is stationary or being driven, giving the time and date you saw it.
