What can I recycle at the tip?
For a full list of items that you can take to the tip visit |Surrey County Council. You can also find out about disposing of |hazardous waste.
How to get a van or trailer permit for the tip
Residents using a van to carry waste will require a permit when entering the Community Recycling Centres. This is to prevent businesses from dropping trade waste at the sites, which is illegal. Find further information and details on obtaining permits at |Surrey County Council.
Local Recycling Banks
There are local recycling banks in 6 well known car parks in Elmbridge. At these locations you can recycle cans, glass, paper, shoes, textiles and *Tetra Pak cartons.
We'll also be adding WEEE banks for small electrical items in some of the car parks from the end of February.
|Local recycling banks are located in the following car parks which are open 24 hours a day:
- Cobham - Downside Bridge Road KT11 3DQ
- Esher - Civic Centre KT10 9SD
- Hersham - New Berry Lane KT12 4HQ
- Molesey - Walton Road KT8 0ST
- Walton - Halfway Car Park KT12 1RR *(No Tetra Pak cartons)
- Weybridge - Churchfield Road KT13 0DB
Please note that there is currently no textile recycling at Cobham or Weybridge due to vandalism of the banks in these car parks. We're working on a solution to return these bins while preventing further damage.
