The fortnightly garden waste collection service is an easy way for you to compost your garden waste. If home composting isn't practical or if you have too much garden waste, then this convenient collection service is the answer.

How much does it cost?

You can choose to have your garden waste collected either from 1 or 2 brown-top wheeled bins, or 2 reusable sacks. The charges per year are as follows:

• 1 wheeled bin: £32* (plus £39 for the one-off purchase of a wheeled bin).
• 2 wheeled bins: £64 (plus £78 for the one-off purchase of 2 wheeled bins).
• 2 sacks: £27* (sacks included).

How do I register or renew?

• Direct Debit: fill in and return both the |subscription form and |Direct Debit form.
• Online: |register or renew (debit/credit card).
• Cheque: fill in the |subscription form and return it to us with your cheque.

Delivery of garden waste containers
We aim to deliver your sacks or bins within 2-3 weeks. Your year's subscription won't begin until you receive your sacks or bin.

What are my alternatives?

|Home composting is still the most environmentally friendly and cost effective method of getting rid of your garden waste. It generates nutrient rich compost, which you can put back into your garden.

You can also take your garden waste to a |community recycling centre.
