Biography

Councillor Rachael I Lake is a Conservative Member and Walton North Ward Councillor.

Rachael sits on the North Area Planning Sub Committee, the Finance Panel and the Elmbridge Museum Task Working Group.

Rachael is currently Chairman of the Elmbridge Business Network, in partnership with Elmbridge Borough Council. Rachael is also a member of the Elmbridge Community Partnership comprising of, Surrey Police, Surrey County Council, Surrey Fire & Rescue Service, North Surrey Primary Care Trust, East Elmbridge & Mid Surrey Primary Care Trust and the Surrey Police Authority.

Rachael is a past Governor at Rydens School (12 years service) and a Trustee of the Charity of Robert Phillips since 1997.

Rachael has been married to Ian for over 30 years, with two grown up children, both born and educated locally in there younger years before going on to College/University. The Lake family all work locally.

Rachael has always been involved in the community, once holding the position of Group Scout Leader for 4th Weybridge Scout Group for several years.

Rachael now is involved as Secretary to the Elmbridge Community Fishing Academy, based at Elmbridge Premier Fisheries, Apps Court Farm, Walton.
