My Background and interests

I have lived in Molesey for over 35 years and my two children both attended schools in Molesey. They are now both adults with their own families and my son still lives in Molesey and my daughter in Ottershaw.

I am a Chartered Architect by background and still pratice from my home and I have a particular interest in Planning and Developments within the Borough.

I am particularly interested in seeing that there is a fair deal for local residents and traders and that Molesey is kept as a self sustaining and vibrant community and township in it's own right and not disadvantaged by adverse regulations.

I am also particularly interested to see that the development of the Jolly Boatman and Railway Station sites takes account of it's close connection with Molesey and it's very strategic and visually important location opposite Hampton Court Palace.

I am intersted in the general wellbeing of local residents by ensuring that local services provided by EBC are maintained at a high standard and that local residents feel that they are safe and that incidents of crime and vandalism are kept to a minimum.

I am accutely aware of the need to increase the provision of high quality affordable housing throughout the Borough without upsetting the balance of local commmunities and without affecting the provision of open space and leisure facilities.
