Councillor Ian Donaldson is a Conservative Member and a Hersham North Ward Councillor.
About me
I graduated from Kingston University in Electronic and Electrical Engineering and later became general manager of a company in Tokyo. I subsequently set up one of the first computer distribution companies in the UK and since being semi-retired, have spent some time lecturing within the prison system.
My wife, Penny and I have lived here for most of our lives and take great pleasure in it. We were all educated within the area and our children and grand children still live locally, so I have a vested interest in wanting to ensure that our village continues to be a safe and most desirable place to live.
We have many amenities available to us within our ward and I am keen to build and improve on them all, especially the sound work being put in on behalf of and with our young people. We are fortunate to enjoy the active support of an extremely dedicated local police force and I am actively working towards greater involvement with all our partners in the future.
