We provide advice, information and support for voluntary and community groups in Elmbridge, working alongside organisations to best support the voluntary sector in the Borough, and aim to link residents with suitable services. We also produce a Voluntary Sector Directory which outlines the voluntary and community groups which operate in and around Elmbridge, however this is currently unavailable while we update information in-line with GDPR requirements.
Voluntary Sector Hub
Does your organisation require a small office occasionally or regularly? The Voluntary Sector Hub, based at the Civic Centre in Esher, can provide you with the opportunity to meet your clients, potential volunteers or members of the public. This facility is free of charge to those organisations that support the Elmbridge community and managed by Voluntary Action Elmbridge. Support and advice is available from Voluntary Action Elmbridge who are able to offer a range of services such as funding opportunities, managing best practice in volunteering and recruiting volunteers. They also aim to offer an on-going service to suit the needs of individual organisations to assist with any specific needs they may have.

The Surrey Compact represents a commitment to continually improve relationships between public organisations, the voluntary and community and faith sector, and organisations representing service users and carers. It is an agreement that changes how partners behave, engage and work together at all levels. Elmbridge Borough Council has signed up to Surrey Compact and has to adhere to the Codes of Practice.
