The Alz Café meets on the second Thursday in the month, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at |Claygate Centre. It's a meeting place for those affected by diseases causing memory loss and confusion, their carers, families and friends where all are welcome to:

• Meet others in similar circumstances.
• Gain information and support from professionals.
• Join discussion groups.
• Listen to speakers.

There is also a mobile library and videos. Light refreshments are provided.

The meeting of others in similar circumstances is recognised as one of the most valuable sources of support. The meeting dates for 2012 are:
