Community Alarm Hospital Discharge Scheme (CATS)

The Community Alarm service is working in partnership with Surrey County Council and other Borough and District Councils to provide a community alarm free of charge to all Surrey residents on discharge from hospital. The service is offered for a 12 week recuperative period. After the 12 week period the normal weekly fee as charged by the Council becomes payable. There is no obligation to keep the alarm after this free period and if it is not wanted then it will be uninstalled at no cost to the user.
