|Image of a bookThe Electoral Register
The Council publishes a new Register of Electors on 1st December each year. We send a household voter registration form to every residential property in the borough at the end of August each year and use the information you give us to publish the new Register. From December to August you can fill out an individual "rolling registration" form. We then publish an updated Register each month.

|image of a lock and keyWho has access to the Electoral Register?
Anyone can look at the Register of Electors, but copies of the Full Register are only supplied for certain purposes, such as credit checks, crime prevention and electoral purposes. The Edited Register is available for sale to anybody who wants to buy a copy. You can opt out of the Edited Register if you don't want your details to be sold.
