Members have access to a 24 hour telephone legal advice line and a legal insurance policy is taken out on behalf of the members, which includes representation for employment tribunals, tax investigation, VAT, DSS, and PAYE and jury service compensation. Full details and conditions of the legal scheme are available on request from Head Office. Other benefits include competitive business insurance and telephone call discounts.

Branches in Surrey host local meetings and events including seminars on topical issues and business-to-business socials. Members receive bi-monthly magazines and newsletters, which contain a mix of FSB news and articles of small business relevance.
